The City of Redmond, Washington Will Help You Get Prepared for a Disaster

In Disaster Preparedness, Local information, Redmond on July 14, 2008 at 12:00 am

Will you know what to do if a disaster, a wind storm or earthquake hits Redmond, Washington?  Redmond is sponsoring a disaster preparedness program to help you get ready and be prepared.  The program, Pass It On, will hold a seminar on July 15th from 6:30-8 PM at the Redmond Regional Library, 15990 NE 85th Street in Redmond.  Contact Tom Osborn at tosborn@redmond.gov or at 425-556-2276 for more information.

In times of disaster, we always think the police and fire departments will be there for us, and they will.  However, they’ll be attending to the largest and most serious problems in a city and may not physically be able to get to individuals for several days.  It is up to you to be prepared!
