In the Microsoft area, the number of price reductions again proved how important it is to be the best priced home and in the best condition when compared to the competition. The number of available homes remained steady, but near the high end of inventory for the year.  For buyers, there are great selections with fabulous interest rates.  Again, if you are buying, plan to stay at least 3-5 years in your home. 

This week’s closed sales:

$450,000 Sunrise Park midentry with a list price of $459,000 on the market for 9 days and sold about 2% below the original asking price. The home was 2000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. ***The home was extremely well priced, hence the fast sale close to the asking price.

$540,000 Unique Northwest contemporary home on Lake Samm Parkway with lots of open areas and wood.  Original asking price of $549,500 for 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and 2000 square feet.  Home sold for almost 2% off the asking price in 44 days with no interim price reductions.  ***This home had really cool lines and a nice contemporary flair, along with good pricing.
