Price range with the most number of homes sold: $400-499,999 (40 homes )    $200-299,999 for condos

Price range with the least number of homes sold: $800-899,999 (none), although there were 4 sales in $900,000′s and 2 above $1,000,000.

Most expensive home sold: $2,000,000

Least expensive home sold:  $290,000

New homes sold: 15

The past year saw the heart of the market drop from the $500-599,999 price range to the $400-499,999 range.  This is now the most popular selling price range in the area.  The Redmond area has always been one of the strongest areas for real estate on the eastside, but the year ended at a slower pace.  The stronger momentum in home sales we’d seen when compared to other eastside cities had dropped off by the end of the year.   I expect we’ll see it come back again during 2010. In fact, the first week of the year with 12 sales in Redmond, near Microsoft, and East Bellevue,  shows we are heading back out of the doldrums.
